Chancel Choir Ted Brauker is our Chancel Choir Director. Contact him if you would like more information about this choir.
If you like to sing, have fun, and offer praises to God, do we have the group for you! Totally His, Immanuel’s children’s choir, meets throughout the school year only. All children kindergarten age through sixth grade are invited to be part of the children’s choir. We would also like to invite those four-year-olds that are interested and also have the ability to sit through rehearsals. We will sing in church one to two Sundays a month and will have rehearsals on Wednesdays during the school year from 4:15-5:30 pm. With Midweek suppers available, choir members can stay right at church through Worship Wednesday classes. Since we will be singing songs by memory for worship services, it is important that we have enough rehearsal time. You can help by having your child/children attend as many rehearsals as possible. Please set aside time for this valuable ministry. Because some of our choir members come to rehearsal straight from school, we will begin each practice with fellowship and a small snack. We will begin working on music in the choir room at 4:30 pm. This allows some extra time for everyone to arrive. If you have any questions, contact Gail Caleca at 773-4204.

Rejoice!, Immanuel's handbell choir, would like to invite you to join in this exciting ministry. Rejoice! is made up of sixth through twelfth graders. If you like music, friends, and a whole lot of fun, then come check us out! Don't worry about it being too difficult. You don't have to read music to play handbells, just a willingness to learn and have a good time! We will play in church one to two Sundays a month and will have rehearsals on most Wednesdays during the school year only from 7:30-8:45 pm, immediately after Worship Wednesday and Confirmation classes. Playing handbells is a bit like having 8-11 people playing a single piano at the same time, with each person playing one or two notes. If one or two people are missing, then the song is not complete. Attendance greatly affects the music we play. With that in mind, we encourage a commitment to attending both rehearsals and worship services. Please set aside time for this valuable ministry. If you have any questions, please contact Gail Caleca. We are looking forward to another excellent year!
