Children's Christian Education:

During the school year, we offer

• Worship Wednesday:  a mid-week Bible study for children ages preschool - 7th grade.  Contact Gail Caleca with questions regarding elementary programs.
• Confirmation Classes:  for 8^th graders.  Contact Pr. Matt Deames regarding the Confirmation program.

Dinner is provided for all parents and children, beginning at 5:30 pm.  Donations of $1 per person or $5 per family are appreciated.

Classes run from 6:00-7:30 pm.

Sunday Children's Programming

What if there were a place for kids to come on Sunday mornings where they could feel welcome, build relationships with God and other young people,  take part in activities they enjoy,  and have fun all at the same time?   Does that sound exciting?  We hope so.

Our vision for this place features centers/stations of many different kinds including, but not limited to, computer, listening, prayer, craft, reading, snack, and video stations. The activities will be designed to serve children of varying needs, interests and ages.  Children age 4 through high school are invited to join us on Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:00 am in the Concordia/Capital rooms.  Younger children, accompanied by a parent, are also invited.

We have an amazing team of facilitators who are currently planning and working to get everything ready, but we need help.  First of all, please pray for this new ministry – for the leaders and for the children who will attend.  If you would like to donate resources (Christian videos, software, books, etc.) that might be used at a station, we would be most grateful.   We also need you to spread the word that something new & exciting is happening for kids at Immanuel on Sunday mornings.  If you are a parent/ grandparent, you can encourage your child/children to attend.  If you have an opportunity to invite others, please do so.  Finally, if you find this Sunday program for kids exciting and would like to be part of the ministry team, please contact Gail Caleca, 773-4204 or at youth@immanuelmp.com.
